My name is Nguyen Vu Duy Lan, but you can call me Jay. I was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and I’m currently 21 years old. I have a deep passion for the arts and aspire to contribute to the world through the lens of a camera. My journey in photography began when my mother gifted me my first camera, and since then, capturing moments through photos and videos has become a significant part of my life. Whether I’m traveling, taking photos for friends and family, or simply exploring the city for street photography, I am constantly inspired by the world around me.
I’ve always been drawn to cinematic films and the way they capture emotions through characters. With photography, I aim to bring that same feeling into real life, turning everyday moments into scenes that feel like a movie. Right now, I’m studying abroad in Vancouver, Canada, where I’ve been working on projects that transform people’s lives into their own cinematic stories.
